Batesburg-Leesville Panthers Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Parker Eargle drove in one run when he singled.
Newberry knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Douglas singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the second inning, scoring one run.
Batesburg-Leesville Panthers Varsity took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Josh Scruggs laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring two runs.
