Gracie Louk wasted no opportunities at the plate on Thursday, driving in five on two hits to lead Batesburg-Leesville Panthers Varsity past Pelion 17-2 on Thursday. Louk drove in runs on a single in the second and a triple in the sixth.
Batesburg-Leesville Panthers Varsity secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the sixth inning. Batesburg-Leesville Panthers Varsity’s big inning was driven by triples by Louk and Kiara Quattlebaum, singles by Ryanne Yarborough and Kelsey Long, a walk by Audreyona Rodgers, an error on a ball put in play by Susan Taylor, and a double by Yarborough.
Pelion captured the lead in the first inning.
